I thought I might get in nice and
early today while the kids are watching cartoons - I have
officially survived the first week of the school holidays!
The kids have been pretty good and they are still
getting along - I hope it lasts!
I have had the scrap the girls
challenge on my to do list all month!
The challenge: Scrap using the colours pink + orange+ green.
You would think, knowing me that these colours would be right
up my alley. Right? Well, I had so much trouble
getting this layout done. I had to start and re-start until
I decided to go a different way.
Here's my layout:
I recently started stocking Manor House Creations flowers
in my store and there has been a flower begging me
to scrap it! Of course, it fits perfectly with the STG challenge!
I've embossed some chipboard with Stampendous
embossing enamel. I haven't embossed it all the way, stopping
just before the powder melted completely so
I got this grainy effect.
In the end it was so nice to sit down and get crafty.
Sometimes it's quite difficult to find the
time while the kids are at home - they wear me out!
I hope you all have a great weekend!
We have a fun filled one coming up with a trip to
Dreamworld and White Water World.
It's been so hot lately here in QLD, I'm so looking forward
to floating around the pool ;0)
Thanks for dropping by!
