December Inspiration

Hooray!!
That's it - the school year is finally over!!
You have no idea how much I have been looking forward to
having the kids at home  - I might be eating
my words in a few weeks - but for now I am content to
not rush around like a mad person every single
morning!!!!!!!!
All of a sudden, I feel like I have time for everything!
Like getting some challenges done.............will be having a scrappy
night tonight since I'm home alone.

Have you checked out Scrapbookit December challenge yet?

1. Photo 5x7";
2. Clock/s in any form;
3. Cogs;
4. A musical element;
5. Use of either the title or lyrics from this song.

I went into a bit of a panic when I realized
I had no cogs of any sort - which is unusual for me!
After a much thorough search through my stash I found some old
patterned paper with cogs on it - and some other goodies!

Here is my layout..............

and a close up........................

If you're a card maker you can have a play along too!
The criteria for the card challenge is

 1. Use your favourite song lyrics
2. Include some sewing
3. Brads
4. Musical element
I used song lyrics from the song
"Oh Hark!" by Lisa Mitchell...I love this girl!
Her music always makes me feel happy :0)

I am a little addicted to my retro flower punch - do you remember
this one? I think it may have been a staple in all
scrappy stashes a few years ago !
I used it to make a little flower power!

My sewing element is pretty dismal - I know!
I think I will make that my challenge for the New Year.
Blow the dust of my sewing machine and actually use it!!
Thanks for dropping by everyone!
Have a great weekend.
Monica
